What Happens ?
Participants will receive daily flight training with a Certified Flight Instructor
or receive demonstration flights in private aircraft provided by members of EAA
Chapter 72. They will learn about aircraft systems, aerodynamics, weather
and navigation during the daily ground school.
Hours of
operation are weekdays, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, beginning Wednesday, June 18th, at the MLAA Hangar (click here for map). Lunch and snacks are provided.

The Aviation Education Foundation of Colorado, Inc. (AEFCO) is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt
charitable and educational organization offering aviation related training and
scholarships to the local community. Donations are tax-deductible. Click here to make a donation.
How Do I Apply?

Space is limited, so only
selected individuals will be able to attend. To be considered, candidates must
range in age from 14-19 and submit an application along with a one or two page essay
describing their aviation goals and how they think this program will help them
reach those goals.
Review the Guidelines and Itinerary to understand more about the objectives and to see the daily itinerary. Download and print the Application Form. Application must be received by AEFCO at 8340 Cessna Drive, Peyton, CO 80831, by May 19, 2008.
Although interviews are not required, the AEFCO Board of Directors will be holding interviews on Saturday, May 31, 2008 to review the program and answer questions from parents and applicants. To schedule an interview, contact Richard Martin.
