What Happens ?
Participants will learn about aircraft systems, aerodynamics, weather
and navigation during the daily ground school. All participants will be eligible for the Summer Flight Scholarships for flight instruction.
Hours of
operation are weekdays, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, beginning Wednesday, June 17th, at the MLAA Hangar (click here for map). Lunch and snacks are provided.

The Summer Flight Experience FREE to those selected.
The Aviation Education Foundation of Colorado, Inc. (AEFCO) is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt
charitable and educational organization offering aviation related training and
scholarships to the local community. Donations are tax-deductible.

How Do I Apply?

Space is limited, so only
selected individuals will be able to attend. To be considered, candidates must
range in age from 15-19 and submit an application along with a one or two page essay
describing their aviation goals and how they think this program will help them
reach those goals and a transcript.
Review the Guidelines and Itinerary to understand more about the objectives and to see the daily itinerary. Download and print the Application Form. Application must be received by AEFCO at 7505 Mallard Drive, Peyton, CO 80831, by May 3, 2010.
Although interviews are not required, the AEFCO Board of Directors will be holding interviews on Saturday, May 8, 2010 through May 29, 2010 to review the program and answer questions from parents and applicants. To schedule an interview, contact Richard Martin.
